Practice information

What are the costs for therapy?

 

Therapy process:

  • Initial (intake) session – 60 to 90 minutes – €135*

  • Follow-up therapy session – 60 minutes – €135*

Single Session Therapy (SST):

  • 90 minutes – €150*

  • 120 minutes - €200*

​

Psychological test to assess AD(H)D in (young) adults:

2x 90 minutes - €350* (including 4 tests and a psychological report)

​

*All therapy sessions are exempt from VAT, so no extra costs will be added.

Payment is made after the session via a payment request. You will receive an invoice by e-mail. 

 

Reimbursement health insurance

Part (or all) of the care may be reimbursed. This depends on your health insurer and the health insurance package you have. Please check with your health insurer. If your insurer has indicated that (part of) the care is covered, you will need to request a referral from your general practitioner and submit the invoices you have already paid to your insurer in order to receive reimbursement.

Does your health insurer not reimburse the care? The following advantages may still outweigh that: you choose your own therapist instead of having one assigned to you, there are no waiting lists, being free from health insurer requirements allows for a personal approach, your deductible will not be used, no referral letter is needed, and no information is shared with your GP or health insurer.

Fees depend on the proposal, but I typically work with a fixed rate per session or part-day. Feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities.

Need to cancel an appointment?

There may be reasons why you need to unexpectedly cancel our appointment. Please cancel the appointment at least 48 hours in advance, so that I can make the slot available to other clients.

​

If you cancel the appointment less than 24 hours in advance, I will be obliged to charge a fee of €50.

Quality Assured

I am a member of the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (NIP) with the title Psychologist NIP®. This means that in my professional practice, I follow the code of conduct set by this association. The code provides psychologists with a guideline for professional conduct and is an important quality tool of the NIP.*

​

I regularly critically assess the ethical aspects of my professional practice through intervision meetings with colleagues.

​

Complaints and Disputes Procedure

If, by any chance, you are dissatisfied, I would like to offer you the opportunity to discuss this with me so that we can resolve it together. Please feel free to let me know if this is the case. If we are unable to reach a solution, you have the option to contact an independent complaints and disputes committee; I am affiliated with the Central Bureau for Complaints Management in Healthcare. They can be reached via their email address: klachten@cbkz.nl.
